Vegetable growing

Agriculture is one of the activities the school engages in to produce food crops so as to supplement the budget for feeding the learners. With the available land, the school is able to produce almost a half of what is required to feed the learners in a term. The school usually hires tractor to plough the land and prisoners to do the planting and weeding. Sometimes the learners are also made to help in weeding and harvesting of maize and cassava. This is to enable them learn to do it by themselves in future so as to avoid dependency syndrome.
